Chef Manager - Houston, United States - American Food and Vending

Description
**- Manage food, labor and operating costs along with budget compliance in food cost analysis and forecasting- Create and execute all menus, including daily meal service and catering; modifies the menu based on food trends, costs, patron requests, and seasonal availability
- Weekly inventory, knowledge of online catering and order systems, purchasing ingredients while ensuring freshness and minimizing spoilage
- Staff development, manage labor, work schedules and employees
- Superior customer service skills are required; will interact daily with our customers and client
- May assist with special corporate projects or events
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Culinary Degree from an accredited university, college, or culinary association
- 5+ years' experience in a similar culinary management position in retail, manufacturing or education services
- Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively and enthusiastically in a fast paced environment
