    ****Customer Service Representative - Regional Billing Office****

    East Tennessee Children's Hospital Regional Billing Office Knoxville , Tennessee Clerical , Days , 8am - 4:30 pm Hours/Pay Period: 80 Posted 01/20/2022 Req # 9573 **BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB:**

    To ensure collections of patient co pays and deductibles are handled in a timely manner and per office policies.

    **JOB REQUREMENTS:**

    **Minimum Education:**

    + High School/GED Required

    **Minimum Work Experience:**

    + Physician office billing and collection experience preferred.

    **Required Licenses/Certifications for position:**

    + NO

    **Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:**

    + Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with a team required. Familiar with collections rules, billing and collections polices. Strong typing and communication skills.

    **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

    *Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.*

    Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required. Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending and reaching is required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
