Formal requirements
:

Only civil servants who fulfill the civil service and career requirements for the second entry level of career group 2 for the tax administration service and have experience as head of department in a tax office are eligible for the position.

Professional requirements
:

Adequate and thorough expertise in the field of tax law, management of the department using the instruments of the "New Berlin Management Model" while considering gender mainstreaming, knowledge of the structure and processes in tax offices, and specific knowledge in the advertised main area of responsibility.
