    Description

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    As a Level 3 data center technician, your responsibilities would include:

    1. **Infrastructure Management**: Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of data center infrastructure including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.

    2. **Technical Support**: Providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for escalated issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity within the data center environment.

    3. **Security**: Ensuring the security and integrity of data center systems and data by implementing and enforcing security measures, such as access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

    4. **Monitoring and Reporting**: Monitoring system performance, capacity, and availability, and generating reports to identify and address potential issues or areas for improvement.

    5. **Incident Response**: Responding to and resolving critical incidents and outages in a timely manner, including participation in on-call rotations.

    6. **Documentation**: Maintaining accurate documentation of data center configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity of operations.

    7. **Vendor Management**: Coordinating with vendors and service providers for procurement, installation, and maintenance of data center equipment and services.

    8. **Project Participation**: Collaborating with cross-functional teams on data center projects, such as hardware upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

    9. **Compliance**: Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to data center operations, security, and environmental requirements.

    10. **Continuous Improvement**: Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data center efficiency, reliability, and performance through automation, process optimization, and technology advancements.
