- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Check the condition of a vehicle's equipment to ensure that everything is in working order
- Maintain order among pupils during trips to ensure safety
- Pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled locations, following strict time schedules
- High School/GED required.
- 1-4 years' experience as a driver
- Must have a safe and valid driver's license according to the school regulations.
- MO Residents, prefer Class E License with S Endorsement

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Position
As a Behavioral Health Allies Van Driver you will be operating a school van over designated routes and transporting school aged individuals. In addition, you may transport BHA clients for various charter trips. As a driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Education and Experience
The job operates almost solely within a vehicle as either a driver or the driver's aide. This position requires the ability to drive up to 50 miles day or night on all types of roads and in all types of weather. This position is exposed to noise, vibrations, and vehicle fumes. The Van Driver will be trained to engage with individuals with behavioral and developmental disabilities.
Physical Requirements
The ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, reach, pull, and climb in and out of van.
