    True NorthHotel Group , an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Van Driver to join our team at our TownePlace Suites in Leavenworth, KS. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a clean and safe van for guest transportation.
    • Notify maintenance of any service needs.
    • Maintain and review vehicle mileage log sheet and schedule.
    • Assist guests with luggage or other personal belongings.
    • Purchase groceries as requested by guests as instructed by the front desk.
    • Deliver valet laundry and mail packages as directed.
    • Answer guests' questions regarding local area facilities.
    • Assist with answering hotel phones when necessary.
    • Handle meeting room set up and break down as assigned.
    • Know and follow the hotel emergency procedures. The emergency plan can be found behind the front desk.
    • Drive defensively and safely when driving the hotel van. Wear your seat belt at all times.
    • Use the van only for company business.
    • Aid the front desk as requested.
    • Practice safe work habits, particularly regarding lifting techniques.
    • Maintain safety equipment in van as directed. Flares and first aid kits are required in all vans.
    • Carry out any reasonable request by management.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School GED or Equivalent
    • Minimum 1-year relevant experience

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
    • Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping as well as stand, sit and/or walk for any extended period.
    • The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and any time it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift as business demands.
