- Accounting or accounts payable skills sufficient to reconcile accounts; review and analyze differences between invoices, receipts, and purchase orders, and assess needs based on data affecting the account.
- Document and records management sufficient to maintain electronic or paper files for efficient organization, retrieval of information and compliance with state and federal retention guidelines.
- Math skills sufficient to maintain complete and accurate financial records and balancing and resolving discrepancies in areas like determining eligibility, level of benefits and/or payroll.
- Skill in word processing sufficient to use Microsoft Office Suite software to type, format letters, memos, reports, minutes of meetings, etc.
- Data entry skill sufficient to enter data in specific databases or tracking systems and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Developing and implementing administrative program policies, procedures, and service standards in cooperation with management.
- Familiarity with SWIFT accounting system.
- Familiarity with E-Grants.
- Knowledge of SWIFT asset management.

Job DescriptionJob Summary
This position provides professional administrative office management support for the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). The incumbent performs administrative office management functions of purchasing, personnel, payroll, printing, records management, asset management, facilities and space management, technology and communications, risk management and health and safety information. The incumbent may also conduct special studies and draft reports on the results; and provides advice and input to management in developing administrative office policy and procedure. The incumbent also provides administrative support to the Executive Director of the Office of Justice Programs.
