We are currently seeking Telemetry RNs for an immediate travel nurse position in Alexandria, LA. The ideal candidate should possess 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. Please see below for more details.
As a TELE Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for connecting patients to monitoring machines that track vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. The gathered data is then transmitted to computer screens for RNs to analyze and act upon. Telemetry RNs play a crucial role in interpreting this data to improve patient care.
As a TELE Travel Nurse, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
TELE Travel Nurses should be capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending and lifting without limitations. RNs should be able to lift up to 20 pounds effortlessly, with occasional requirements to lift up to 50 pounds, especially when moving or transferring patients. Specific visual abilities such as close vision, color vision, and depth perception are essential for this role.
Requirements*: ACLS, BLS, 2 Years Experience
* Additional certifications may be necessary before commencing an assignment.
