ExacTech is the primary supplier for Marine Travelift and Shuttlelift crane structures, providing steady, in-door work throughout the year.

ExacTech Inc., in Sturgeon Bay, WI is excited to be adding full time Sandblasters to our team on 1st and 2nd shifts.

As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, you will be responsible for stripping a surface of dirt, rust, old paint, and grease, and prepares it for refinishing and repair using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:45AM-3:15PM; Friday 6:45AM-10:45AM (1/2 day Fridays)

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM (3-day Weekend)

Responsibilities:

Use abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt
Responsible for the initial prep of large steel beams and other metal parts to prepare for Industrial Paint
Use forklift to haul material, tools, and equipment
Maintain equipment and work area
All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of corrosioncontrol methods and processes is desired
Must be able to comply with instructions
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Regular attendance required
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
