    PDS Tech is looking for a Regional Security Governance Coordinator in Herndon, VA

    Title: Regional Security Governance Coordinator (Contract)
    Location: Herndon, VA
    Hourly Rate of Pay Range: /hour based on experience
    Duration of Assignment: Open-ended

    Position Overview

    We need a motivated and detail-oriented Regional Security Governance Coordinator to be part of our team in Herndon, VA. If you are starting your career in IT security/systems and want to enhance your skills in a dynamic and globally recognized organization, this is a great chance for you.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Security Governance: Support the implementation and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) frameworks like ISO27001, NIST 800-82, and ISA/IEC 62443.
    • Risk Management: Conduct business impact analysis and vulnerability assessments, and apply security risk management standards and processes.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on state and federal laws, industry standards, and best practices.
    • Project Coordination: Assist in program and project management activities related to security governance.
    • Collaboration: Work efficiently with various stakeholders, including technical teams, non-technical personnel, and executive leadership.
    • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% as needed.
    Qualifications
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
      • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years in Information Systems Security is required.
      • At least 2 years in Security Risk Management is preferred.
      • At least 2 years of program or project management experience is preferred.
    • Skills and Certifications:
      • Familiarity with Physical Security mechanisms is preferred.
      • Licensure in ISO-27001, ISO-27005, ISO-31000, CISSP, CISM, NIST SP-800, ISA/IEC 62443 is preferred.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication across diverse audiences.
      • Team-focused, customer-focused, proactive, and self-organized.
      • Proficiency in English (written, verbal, and presentation skills) is required.
      • Fluency in other languages such as French, German, or Spanish is a bonus.
    Additional Information
    • Location Requirement: Candidates must be local to Northern Virginia/DC Metro area or willing to relocate at their own cost.
    • Contract Details: This is a contract position with an open-ended duration, offering an hourly pay rate ranging from 33.65 to 43.75 based on experience.
