Medical Biller/Coder | Full-Time | Ventura, CA

About Us and Our Role:

Seeking a detailed-oriented
Medical Biller/Coder to handle medical claims and coding.

This role is perfect for professionals skilled in
ICD-10, CPT coding, and familiar with
Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, and HMO insurances, and EMR experience, preferably AllScripts.

Starting Rate: $21-$22/hr.

Location: Oxnard (training) then Ventura, CA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Medical Biller/Coder Role Responsibilities:

Accurate coding of surgical and E&M services
Efficient claim submission and payment tracking
Proactive claims followup and appeals handling
Comprehensive insurance verification and collections

Medical Biller/Coder Role Qualifications:

3 years of relevant experience in medical billing and coding, and strong knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes
Certification in medical coding is preferred but not required
Experience with a range of insurances including Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, and HMO insurances

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40.00 per week
