- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid LPN license and be willing to obtain VA and/or compact licensure.
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision on RNs or physicians.
- Monitoring patients vitals and symptoms—administering medication and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by a physician and monitor for adverse reactions to medications
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate interventions as needed
- Documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately and timely
- Educating patients on self-care techniques and promoting health education within the correctional facility
- COMPENSATION that is competitive, negotiable, and paid weekly
- HOURLY PAY with overtime opportunities
- BONUSES when you refer others. $500 for you and $500 for them
