The Quantitative Analytics Director position is responsible for engaging the key MF business partners to ensure the reasonableness and consistency of quantitative models, analytics and methodologies used in risk management and decision making in MF business.


Our Impact:


  • Our team includes the owners and developers of all major MF credit, market risk and business decision models/tools. Our goal is to use all available models and tools to facilitate MF risk management and optimize portfolio strategies.
  • Our team is also responsible for MF regulatory capital, stress testing and business initiatives. This is an increasingly critical role given our focus on safety and soundness in multifamily business as well as the emerging risk management under the dynamic market environment

Your Impact:


  • Leading the efforts on effective model operations, monitoring and business uses of MF core risk models. Providing thoughtful inputs on the development and improvement of model methodologies.
  • Taking the leading role of collaborating with significant business users, managing and mitigating model operation and governance risks (such as modeling findings), and expanding model uses in business decisions.
  • Lead the improvement of advanced scenario analysis and market forecasts to optimize business strategies and capital planning.
  • Actively building and engaging the model and model use communities across different business functions through effective communication and leadership.
  • Building strong productive relationship with various collaborators across three lines of defenses

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in credit risk modeling and risk mitigation
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Master or PhD degree in quantitative finance, statistics, or a related quantitative field with minimum 10+ years of financial industry experience.
  • Minimum 4 years' people management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly written communication skills
  • Self‐motivated, with the capability of managing multiple priorities and efficient in proposing solutions

FLSA Status:

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.


This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $212,000 - $318,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.

The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
