    Description

    Description of Systems Analyst (Tier II) at SAIC

    SAIC is currently looking for a Systems Analyst (Tier II) to join their team in supporting a significant federal government agency during the night shift. In this role, you will be working from Sunday to Thursday, from 10:30 pm to 7:15 am.

    This position offers the flexibility of temporary remote work with the possibility of transitioning back to the office when needed by the client. Candidates need to be based in the DMV area for this opportunity.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring, controlling, troubleshooting, and fixing system-related issues in a data communications network.
    • Performing second-level problem determination, incident resolution, service request completion, and system health checks.
    • Interfacing with end users and Tier III support teams.
    • Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to system alerts, as well as coordinating system recovery tasks.
    • Configuring, testing, troubleshooting, deploying, and managing IT assets like mobile devices, laptops, tokens, etc.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    Education & Experience:

    • AA Degree or High School diploma with related work experience.
    • Proficiency in monitoring and ticketing systems.
    • Ability to adhere to standard procedures and data entry criteria.
    • Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with end-users, including VIPs.
    • Basic knowledge of networking principles, mobile platforms, and Microsoft Windows 10.

    Clearance:

    • US Citizenship and eligibility for a secret security clearance.
    • Initial Interim Secret clearance is required.

    Desired Certifications and Skills:

    • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+.
    • ITIL Foundations.

    Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on relevant experience and qualifications. SAIC is open to applications at any time, without a specific deadline.
