Position:

As a Retail Sales Associate, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service experience while driving sales, being knowledgeable in all product categories, and being ready to assist customers with determining their needs.

Responsibilities:

Consistently creating a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to their inquiries and needs.

Must be knowledgeable in all merchandise categories and able to make appropriate suggestions to the customers. Must regularly communicate with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to keep informed on all sales, promotions, and campaigns. Must maintain open and flexible availability to accommodate store needs. Must ensure company standards are met for store and associate appearance at all times. Must assist in the maintenance of the store to ensure cleanliness and organization at all times. Must perform cashier functions and adhere to minor policy while completing customer transactions. Must stock and organize merchandise as necessary. Must be knowledgeable on all pricing and signage. Must enforce all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security. Must perform any other duties as directed by supervisors. Must be available to work regular weekend shifts and all holiday seasons.


Job Requirements:
21 years of age or older.

1 year as a store associate or customer service representative (including greeting customers, building relationships, assisting in locating/selecting/selling product, and identifying/resolving customer issues).

Prior experience in a team environment requiring professional and effective communication skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, which may also depend on your preference for part-time or full-time hours.

Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities. Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and services. High School Diploma or equivalent.


Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 4-8 hours a day. Ability to climb ladders and lift 40 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
