SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support our Sales team.

The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for analyzing sales data, collaborating with the sales team, and ensuring overall customer satisfactions.

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships and building partnerships with accounts. Ability to analyze and interpret sales metrics and demonstrating a goal-oriented mindset is a must. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Skills/Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong internal relationships with Operations, Customer Service, and Revenue Management to facilitate timely resolution of customer and Sales requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to key accounts as assigned.
  • Support specified accounts in open Sales territories to maintain and grow business while the role is backfilled.
  • Facilitate marketing purchases and distribution as approved by SVP of Sales.
  • Perform analytical analysis to measure growth, churn, prospective clients, and Sales performance.
  • Act as liaison to sales organizations and attend sales calls as necessary to address RFP or project management type activities.
  • Support the sales force by conducting research on prospects, contacting prospects, and setting appointments.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for client or industry in preparation for prospect presentation.
  • Collaborate with the operations and sales team to ensure strategies are aligned with the company's overall objectives and goals.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Process oriented with strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into new continuous improvement projects.
  • Facilitate logistics of business meetings, calendar management, and preparation of presentation and event activities.
  • Make travel arrangements when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or in relevant field a plus.
  • Experience on CRM systems. Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, continuous improvement, data analytics or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience on sales, pricing, customer service with LTL Logistics transportation.
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Power Point)
