    HR Enterprise Architect | Contract-to-Hire | Durham, NC (Hybrid)

    The Select Group is seeking an HR Enterprise Architect to join our top client in the education space for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will require the consultant to support 3 days per week on-site at their Durham, North Carolina office. Please review all the details below and apply today

    Role Mandate:

    Our client's Enterprise Architecture organization is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and governance of applications and frameworks including defining best practices and reusable functionality that can be applied across multiple products within different divisions.

    You will be a key member of the Enterprise Architecture organization and will be required to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Digital, Technology, and Business divisions. You will contribute to the innovation and transformation of application architecture from an infrastructure, application, and process standpoint. You will be responsible for helping define standards, evaluate products to meet business needs, and defining the standards and best practices for each business use case that can reduce time to market for business units.

    Must-Have Experience:

    • 10+ years of architecture experience.
    • Fluent working in integrations with external applications to perform business functions.
    • Thorough understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and integration strategies.
    • Proficiency in evaluating technology products, tools, and solutions for various business domains.
    • Proven ServiceNow Expertise.
    • Must have experience working on Service catalog (CMDB), Software Asset Management (SAM) and Application Portfolio Management (APM) modules within ServiceNow.
    • Experience with generativeAI to drive operational efficiencies.
    • Salesforce architecture/ administration knowledge.
    • Preferred experience using 2 out of the 3: Salesforce sales cloud, marketing, and/or service cloud design.
    • Fluent working in integrations with external applications to perform business functions.
    • Thorough understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and integration strategies.
    • Proficiency in evaluating technology products, tools, and solutions for various business domains.
    • Great communication between non-technical and technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess technical and functional aspects of products.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Must have 1 of the following certifications – Salesforce Administrator certification, Salesforce Integration Architect and/or Service Management certified.

    Nice to have:

    • Prior experience in legal regarding HR work,
    • Having BOTH Salesforce and Salesforce Service Cloud experience.
    • TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications.
    • Experience in helping companies Fedramp ready.
    • Federal risk and authorization management program.
    • They provide a standardized approach to security authorizations for cloud service offerings
    • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification, Salesforce Integration Architect and/or Service Management certified

    Day to Day:

    • Technology Evaluation Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the organization's technology evaluation strategy. Identify the most suitable products, tools, and solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Product Assessment: Lead the comprehensive evaluation of technology products, considering factors such as functionality, scalability, compatibility, security, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Architecture Integration: Design and develop architecture strategies for integrating evaluated products into the existing technology landscape. Ensure seamless interoperability and alignment with existing systems.
    • Standards and Best Practices: Establish technology standards, best practices, and guidelines for product evaluations and integration. Maintain consistency and coherence across various projects.
    • Vendor Relationships: Build and manage relationships with technology vendors. Stay updated on vendor roadmaps, product offerings, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisions.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, technical specialists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess technology needs, and provide recommendations.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with new technology integration. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure the stability and security of integrated systems.
    • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of product evaluations, integration approaches, and architectural decisions. Share knowledge with relevant teams.
    • Innovation Tracking: Stay informed about technological advancements, trends, and industry developments. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the technology landscape.
    • Thought Leadership: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and seminars to showcase technological expertise and thought leadership.
