- Strategic Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the revenue cycle team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align revenue cycle initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Revenue Cycle Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, collections, and denials management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize revenue and reduce revenue cycle inefficiencies.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, billing guidelines, and payer requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry changes and updates to ensure that revenue cycle processes are compliant and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with the compliance team to conduct regular audits and address any compliance issues proactively.
- Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance revenue cycle efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage technology and automation to streamline revenue cycle processes and reduce manual interventions.
- Drive innovation initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and adopt new technologies that can benefit the revenue cycle operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, clinical operations, IT, and payer relations, to achieve revenue cycle objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle matters and provide guidance and support to stakeholders as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement, and compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, strategic planning, and project management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
