- Procurement planning experience during electrical construction bidding phases
- Relevant purchasing experience Strategic Sourcing, identifying, and prequalifying vendors
- Ability to develop comprehensive RFPs
- Skilled at creating Vendor Matrixes and scope leveling analysis
- Ability to obtain/qualify for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Familiarity with contract specifications and bills of material
- Experience in negotiating contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), construction, specialty trade subcontractors and fabricators.
- Independent contributor - no direct reports or management responsibilities over a team, even as a Director level. This is not an administrative role - will be the front runner in the procurement planning process - beginning to end.
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with accounting principles.
- Fluency w/ Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel
