    The Mount Sinai Brooklyn Department of Radiology, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Body Imager/General Radiologist for a full time position in its Division of Radiology.


    The position is primarily hospital based, but includes shared oversight for the outpatient imaging center, KingsWay Diagnostic Imaging, directly across the street.

    Mount Sinai Brooklyn is a 212 bed acute care community hospital located in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. Over the past 10 years, the hospital has undergone substantial renovation and expansion of services.

    It is well regarded in the community for excellence in cardiac care, geriatric care, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurology, and orthopedic surgery.

    The hospital's Radiology Department performs 62,000 exams annually, including XRay, CT, US, fluoroscopy, mammography, Nuclear Medicine and IR.

    The imaging office performs 8200 exams annually, including CT, MRI, and bone densitometry with a new MRI currently being built.


    The applicant will be part of the large Mount Sinai multispecialty radiology group of over 100 radiologists, two large residency programs, and robust cross-coverage.

    The subspecialty work is covered by the specialty sections, so there is opportunity for a flexible worklist. Proficiency in MRI, body CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy is a must.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
    • New York Medical License
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology

    Salary Disclosure Information:


    Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

    Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.

    As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.

    The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
