Overview:
PACE Supply is seeking Order Pickers for our Stockton Distribution Center. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00am start time with daily overtime.

Order pickers are responsible for picking products, operating an Order Picker (cherry picker), and/or Reach Lift), RF Gun will be utilized to scan products.

Must be able to meet company productivity standards.

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, prepares merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.

Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer and/or RF scanner.
Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed.
Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.
Pulls orders from inventory, assigned zones, manually and/or utilizing forklift.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, coworkers and managers.
Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
Handson commitment to getting the job done.
Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and selfdriven to excel in a fastpaced environment.
Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
Occasionally, the employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a handtruck.
Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Environmental Conditions:

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
