Description

The position of Contract Management / VAT 2b UStG in the municipality of Petershagen/Eggersdorf, with approximately inhabitants, is to be filled as soon as possible on a full-time basis with 39 hours/week. A reduction of working hours to up to 30 hours/week is possible.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing municipal business processes for taxability; VAT examination and assessment according to § 2b of the VAT Act, as well as exemptions and reductions, including tax assessment of contract contents or adjustments, tax assessment of municipal projects, statutes, and fee regulations

Preparation of monthly VAT returns from various tax fields and annual declarations, as well as coordination and reconciliation with the tax authority

Developing, implementing, and enforcing cross-departmental processes within the framework of VAT regulations, including providing expert advice to employees from different departments and coordinating collaboration within the administration

Presenting and explaining tax-related matters in internal trainings, preparing resolutions, and participating in committees of local politics

Continuing the implementation of the contract management system throughout the entire administration, complete recording of all contracts, and tax examination and evaluation of contract contents

Expert administration of contract software, implementation of workflows throughout the administration, and development of standard contracts
