Description

Local industrial company is looking for Electrical Engineer to join their team In this role you will provide electrical engineering design support for power plant design, substations and equipment including component selection, design integration, fabrication, and operation.

Responsibilities:

Develop oneline, threeline, outline and schematic drawings
Prepare electrical equipment specifications, size and select components including breakers, fuses, cables and wiring
Provide assistance to field service personnel as requested and prepare design solutions as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Electrical Engineering Degree / MS or BS with Significant Experience in Power Distribution
3+ years" experience in electrical power generation and distribution systems / facilities design.
Significant direct experience with design of plant power distribution, electrical systems, cable / breaker /fuse sizing, grounding plans, transformer ratings, etc.
Must have working knowledge of product development processes in a formal engineering environment and expertise in National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance.
Demonstrated ability to interact with individuals on all levels of the organization as well as with drafters, vendors, sub contractors, customers and utility personnel.
Willingness to learn, proactive, results and service oriented.
MS Office software
Basic electrical test equipment.
AutoCAD a plus.
Utilities Background a plus
