Job Title:
Accounting Clerk

We are hands-on for asset management, acquisitions, legal, project management, construction services, engineering, and leasing.

Our on-site managers respond immediately to tenant issues, our in-house engineering group respond daily to the requirements of our portfolio, and our leasing process results in 80% of all transactions closed without brokers.

The Abbey Company focuses on partnering with our tenants via regular management, personal contact, and property services executed by regional employees.

This concentrated management approach and partnership with our tenant base yields greater financial performance, tenant retention, and overall product occupancy compared to other competitors in the marketplace.


Education / Experience:


  • 3 to 5 years of real estate property management experience preferred.
  • Accounts receivable responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
  • Retrieve tenant payment remittance info via multiple online banking accounts daily.
  • Open, sort & internally direct all delivered mail. Obtain tenant check remittances for entry.
  • Remote scan deposit checks through online banking interfaces.
  • Compile and provide daily cash deposit reports to VP Accounting.
  • Perform tenant billing adjustments as needed throughout the month.
  • Run and provide monthly rent reports to property management.
  • Generate and mail out monthly tenant statements and annual CAM rec statements.
  • Accounts payable backup
  • Scan and enter invoices in Avidxchange.
  • Match AP checks with invoices including special handling, emergency, utility and standard.
  • Filing of hard copy AP invoices.

To perform the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to noise associated with mechanical machines and computers.

The nose level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Pay:
$ $26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
