Who We're Looking For:

If you're witty, entertaining, high energy, love meeting new people, and LOVE beer, this is the perfect job for you Applicants with theater, tour guide, or improv experience are always a great fit.

What You'll Do:

• Pick up guests in a 14passenger van and be their tour guide through some of the best local craft breweries in DC, including Hellbender, DC Brau, and Red Bear, teaching them all about the history and science of beer
• Create an engaging, fun, and educational experience while ensuring safety and promoting responsible consumption

Your Schedule:

• Shifts are typically 5 hours, though sometimes can be doubles.
• Flexible hours that work around your schedule
• Average of 5 to 15+ hours per week
• Great addition to an existing job

Tour Guide Requirements:

• Passion for and interest in craft beer and breweries
• Evening and/or weekend availability
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to comfortably navigate city roads in a 14passenger van
• Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record (No DUIs)
• 21 years or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cicerone or BJCP Knowledge and/or Certification
• Home brewing or beer industry experience
• Previous tour guide, theater, and/or improv experience

Physical Requirements:
You will be required to safely operate a motor vehicle. This includes the ability to sit for durations of up to 60 minutes at a time while driving.

You will be required to stand and walk for durations of at least 45 minutes at each tour stop and you will also need the mobility to pour beer from pitchers to glasses at various locations.
