:- Conduct highlevel industry research to develop effective sales solutions
- Work with internal R-D to develop innovative product/services
- Introducing external products for OEM option
- Promote the company's products or services to prospective clients
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
- Provide continuous, constructive feedback
- Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
- Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products or services
- Perform other duties as designated by the SVP/GM
- Work with Research Scientists and group staff to ensure available resources and assignments meet client needs.
- Maintain the scientific, safety, and regulatory compliance integrity of the entire research and development process.
- Provide technical leadership to scientific and technical staff from sample preparation through instrumental analysis to resolve analytical challenges in a timely fashion.
- Drive development and adoption of optimized, uniform processes as beneficial to clients and staff.
- Participate in the proposal management and bid development process, serving as a key scientific contact for new business generated from established business relationships.
- Monitor the performance of group staff, including identifying training and development needs within the group. Provide regular coaching and mentoring.
- Support new clients and sales staff from early onboarding discussions into active operations.
- Work with laboratory support groups to identify equipment and service needs.
- Key participant in strategic planning for securing and retaining new clients.
- Assist in planning and developing new services intended to broaden the client base.
- Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state oftheart practices.
- Perform testing facility management duties for the site as delegated by senior management.
- Direct and implement initiatives to develop novel products for unmet market needs.
- Building strong cross functional partnerships throughout the organization
Requirements:
- Must have Ph.
- At least 5year experience in biotech industry with managerial role.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be selfmotivated and be passionate about turning science into products.
- Must possess ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders cross functionally.
- Selfawareness and ability to influence others.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
- An analytical mind with problem solving aptitude
- Ability to lead others in a fastpaced environment, while managing competing tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
- Proven ability to successfully manage scientists and associate scientists
- Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize and balance work from multiple sources
- Strategic thinking and proven ability to understand and respond to critical business and industry issues. Experience with high growth organization
