    2024 Summer Intern - Finance-FIN001468

    The Finance Internship will provide the opportunity to participate in overall financial planning, reporting and strategic long range forecast process as well as assist in driving business performance improvements.

    SECTION ONE: OVERVIEW / SUMMARY

    ​Responsibilities will focus on assignments within one of the following areas:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Revenue Planning & Analysis
  • Business Strategy
  • Financial Performance Program Management

    • SECTION TWO: JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist senior level analyst(s) with monthly and quarterly finance reporting (e.g. Monthly Controllers Report, Board Book, Revenue Dashboard), including 1) update financial results and 2) assist in developing financial insights and analyses.
  • Support monthly forecast and annual budget processes by assisting Senior level analysts in identifying trends to key business drivers, updating forecasts and supporting related reporting.
  • Participate in the Strategic Long Range Forecast process.
  • Shadow senior financial analysts in key deliverable meetings / presentation.
  • Participate in B2B special pricing analysis.
  • Perform Ad-Hoc analysis of financial information to inform improvement actions.
  • Complete other special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
  • Basic understanding of fundamental accounting principles, practices and procedures, and financial concepts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to participate and work well in cross-functional teams.

    Prior Accounting and/or Finance related internship experience strongly preferred
