What to expect

At the shipping unit of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Bernburg, we are offering a work-study position (20 hours/week) for months starting as soon as possible. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Developing potential for digitalization and optimization of internal pallet handling during delivery/exchange
Analyzing lead times and time slot adherence, as well as validating loading capacities provided by the TM (Transportation Management / software platform "TRANSPOREON")
Creating a concept study for the implementation of a yard management system at the Bernburg location, based on the OAS yard management system at the Borth location
Examining the use of 2D/QR codes (two-dimensional/QR-Quick Response) and RFID technology (RFID-Radio Frequency Identification) in the logistics chain
Validating the interfaces of SAP PLS (Process Control System) in terms of their future viability when implementing S4/HANA
Supporting the digital archiving of transport documents

What you bring

Enrolled student in the field of logistics management, business administration, industrial engineering, digital media and management, data science, AI engineering or a comparable course of study, preferably with a focus on logistics
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
