    SUMMARY
    DSV is a leading logistics company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of logistics for the Willow project.


    As a Senior Project Manager at DSV, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across various project sites.

    Your role will be critical in ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

    You will lead a team of logistics professionals from within the client's office and work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and optimize project timelines.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to support the timely and efficient delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel to designated oil and gas project sites.

    Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment while ensuring the team's adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

    Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists, to align logistics activities with project timelines and requirements.

    Monitor and optimize logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize project delays.

    Collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors, transportation companies, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations and standards.

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and reliable delivery schedules.

    Prepare and present regular progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments to senior management, highlighting key logistics achievements, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

    Proactively identify potential risks and devise contingency plans to mitigate any adverse impacts on project timelines, costs, and safety.

    Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in logistics management, integrating relevant innovations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Engineering, or a related field.

    Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the oil and gas industry or construction industry, with an emphasis on team leadership.

    PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

    Proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of supply chain management, transportation, and warehouse operations.

    Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple projects and locations.

    In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards within the oil and gas sector, with a focus on maintaining compliance throughout logistics operations.

    Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools for logistics planning, tracking, and reporting. Working knowledge of industry-standard scheduling software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI) is a plus.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
    Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

    Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the capacity to build and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors and service providers.

    This full-time position is based within the client's Anchorage, AK office, with occasional travel to project sites and partner locations as required.

    For this position, the expected base pay is:

    $70,000

    $155,000 / Annual.
