Mandel is searching for a full-time apartment
Maintenance Technician I or II to complete our team at
Park Lafayette Towers, a community located in
Downtown Milwaukee, WI.

In this role with Mandel, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiencies and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, diagnosing work order requests, and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance.

• Perform general facilities services such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Respond timely to resident maintenance work order requests and notify management upon completion of requests or of pending work order needs.
• Be available to work oncall hours in a rotation, which will include some weekends and night work.
• Keep amenity areas in clean and operable condition. Maintain and monitor all safety related equipment and required records.
• Participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units in the most timely and efficient manner prior to new resident occupancy per Mandel standards.
• Grounds keeping duties to include trash removal and cleaning.

• Available for participate in the oncall rotation
• 1 week once every 512 weeks (frequency dependent on region and staffing levels)
• Daily paid oncall stipend
• Automatic 1.50x and 2x pay on Holidays

• Available to work 40hours per week
• Prior maintenance/facilities experience

• EPA Universal, type 1 or 2, certifications
• CPO certification
• 13 years maintenance/facilities/HVAC experience
