Job Summary

The Breckenridge Resort Security Officer regularly patrols all resort properties in order to mitigate Security, Fire, and Life Safety situations. The successful candidate will possess excellent judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills and will thrive working individually or as part of a diverse team. Resort Security officers work closely with police, fire, and medical agencies during investigations, prevention efforts, and training.

Job Specifications:

• Expected Pay Range: $ $25.49 / hour
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round
• Skill Level: Advanced

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Maintains a daily log of all activities throughout the shift.
• Maintains key and access control of One Ski Hill Place, Crystal Peak Lodge, Village at Breckenridge, Mountain Thunder Lodge, River Mountain Lodge, Mountain Administration Building and the Mountain road access gates.

Job Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license - required.
• Must have knowledge of and experience dealing with emergencies.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain – EMT or higher certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours in a high-altitude mountain environment in inclement weather.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• At least 2 years of security experience – preferred.
• At least 2 years hospitality guest service experience in a resort setting – preferred.
• Professional writing experience – preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a variety of staff and guests.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

The expected pay range is $ $25.49. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
