We are looking for an experienced, energetic dental assistant to help us build our patient base by giving children a pleasant and fun experience.

We're looking for someone enthusiastic to provide excellent customer service and to work for the good of the team to keep the office organized and running efficiently.

This is a long-term position for someone who wants to be an integral part in helping build a start-up practice and grow with the office.

Office uses Dentrix Ascend. Dual training in dental reception a plus


Responsibilities

• Seat patients in operatories and prepare them for dental treatment
• Set up instruments, equipment and materials needed for treatment
• Take any necessary radiographs
• Assist the dentist through 4handed dentistry
• Provide oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
• Disinfect treatment room after procedure
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Keep operatories clean and wellstocked
• Maintain accurate patient records and charge out procedures
• Occasional reception duties booking patients, answering phone calls and collecting payments (can be trained on the job if no previous experience in this area)

Skills

• 2 years experience as dental assistant preferred
• Xray license necessary
• N2O Certification preferred but not necessary
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Excellent communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Wellorganized
• Punctual and reliable
• Willingness to learn

Compensation is negotiable and competitive depending on experience, with a range of $18-$32/ hour. If you feel you would be a great addition to our team, we would love to hear from you

Pay:
Up to $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
