- Helps patients reach their maximum functional levels by utilizing techniques to improve speech and language problems, diagnosis and treatment of swallowing disorders, and cognitive and psychosocial disorders.
- Evaluates and executes a Speech Therapy plan of care for patients.
- Documents patient care and charges.
- Provides leadership and direction for support staff and Speech language Pathology students.
- Participates in professional development and continuing education to ensure compliance with licensure laws.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Required Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: SLP-CCC: Current Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology from American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) OR
Must meet the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification
