As a Claim Technical Assistant you will provide both administrative and technical support to all Claim functions (i.e. Auto, Liability, Property, SIU, Subrogation, etc.).

Key Responsibilities- Under direct supervision, process loss and expense payments in area of responsibility within granted settlement authority for all lines of business. Skilled data entry into multiple claim and related databases systems. Request police reports and other investigative material Request appropriate letters and correspondence as directed by the Claim Professional. Provide administrative support to Claim Professionals (i.e. printing, filing and copying documents, etc.). Answer routine questions relative to area of responsibility which may include contact with agents, insured(s) or others. Keeps supervisor informed verbally and in writing of activities and problems within assigned area of responsibility; refers matters beyond limits of authority and expertise to supervisor for direction. Performs other related duties as required or requested.- Requirements- Meet objectives of the department and competencies on job description. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Strong interest in advancement within the Claim Department Sound MS Office skills and able to work in an organized manner Good time management skills with strong attention to detail Some office or customer service work experience preferred.
