The Harrisburg District Government in Ohio is seeking to fill a temporary position, starting on January 1st, 2023 or as soon as possible, for a


School Psychologist (m/f/d)
(Pay grade 13 TV-L)

at the Regional School Counseling Center in Recklinghausen County.

There is a possibility for extension.


Requirements:


The prerequisite for this position is a completed degree in psychology from a university with a diploma or master's degree, or a master's degree from a university of applied sciences that has been accredited for higher civil service.

For foreign degrees, proof of equivalence (certificate evaluation by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB)) must be provided.

Experience in school psychology is beneficial.


The willingness to use a private vehicle for work-related travel (with reimbursement according to the State Travel Expenses Act) is desirable.

The position is classified as a civil service position in pay grade 13 TV-L. The job posting is subject to the availability of funds.

Working hours are regulated according to the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Federal States (TV-L). It is necessary to be available during regular school hours. Attendance at team meetings is mandatory. Currently, team meetings take place on Tuesdays. Mobile work is necessary and possible.


Main Responsibilities:

School psychology supports all types of schools (including private schools) in Recklinghausen County, as well as teachers and other educational professionals, in fulfilling their educational and developmental tasks
