Your responsibilities:

Ensuring the subprocess in terms of cost, performance, value creation, adherence to deadlines, machine uptime, quality, and rework
Developing and monitoring goals and metrics for your own process section and communicating them to employees
Ensuring the process flow in a multishift system
Workforce planning for the subprocess (across shifts, short/medium/longterm)
Staff deployment planning (granting vacation and monitoring inventory)
Managing employees (team leaders, subject matter experts)
Training new employees and providing technical support
Ensuring the implementation of 5S and other lean measures
Responsibility for cleanliness, order, safety, and compliance with company rules
Further development of the subprocess (concept and implementation; goals, investments, etc.)

Your profile:

Completed vocational training in the metal industry or a comparable field with further qualification as a master craftsman or technician
Alternatively, completed studies in a natural or engineering field
Several years of professional experience desired
Leadership experience desired
Excellent knowledge of various manufacturing processes
Knowledge in the area of production planning and control
High level of initiative and handson mentality
Strong communication skills
Assertiveness
Good computer skills (MS Office) and experience with SAP applications
Good interpersonal skills and empathy
