Appliance Delivery Helper/driver - New Bedford, United States - Green Eagle Inc

Description

• Must be able to Team lift heavy appliances up to 150 pounds.
• Delivery experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Technical capabilities to manage smartphone and software
• Ability to learn to drive a truck over 26 feet long
• Ability to work 1012 hours per day at least 5 consecutive days.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to learn and use simple tools (screw drivers, hand drill, wrenches, etc.)
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening, MVR, and drug test

• Prepping appliances for delivery
• Removing shipping and packing materials
• Lifting and moving appliances into customers' homes
• Organizing truck throughout the day, in between stops
• Operating a 26 foot delivery truck
• Operating a truck gate
• Communicating with customer prior to and during delivery
• Installing proper electric cords to ranges/Dryers

• Personal protective equipment provided or required
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

• Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
