Here's the scoop:

The Leasing and Membership Coordinators are responsible for showing off the Kenect brand.

This position not only generates excitement for others to want to be a part of our community but they also provide five-star, exceptional, customer service to members, visiting members, prospective members and any guest at Kenect.

This role is best filled by someone that work well in a team, enjoys building relationships and is energized by others.

This position reports directly to the Leasing and Marketing Manager and/or the Membership Manager with primary responsibilities focused on leasing apartments and selling coworking memberships while meeting and maintaining leasing and occupancy targets.

This person is responsible for daily and weekly reporting as set forth by the reporting guidelines. Weekly calls to review leasing and membership results may be required.

This person often has experience in a sales and/or customer centric environment. Familiarity with market competitors, local community, and current developments in the submarket will provide additional success in this role. Must be goal and sales oriented to maintain leasing and occupancy requirements.

A sales environment changes frequently and being adaptable, flexible, and organized will help this person thrive is a fast-paced office.


What this opportunity entails

  • Provide warm, friendly and inviting service while promoting the Kenect lifestyle.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments
  • Assist with leasing process, ensuring lease and coworking terms are clearly communicated with and agreed to by the client.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and that of major competition through site visits/tours and telephone surveys.
  • Assist with coordination of new resident movein process.
  • Participate in outreach marketing activities, distribute flyers, advertising and marketing materials
  • Assist and provide a fun and engaging experience for members at required property events
  • Maintain a clean and organized aesthetic and uniform policy.
  • Maintain company customer service standards. Respond to resident requests in a timely manner and work with residents to minimize and resolve problems and complaints. Follow through to ensure issues are resolved
  • Assist in ensuring that the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive. Visually inspect grounds, buildings and units on a regular basis. Ensure units are always show ready
  • Attend required meetings and training seminars

What we need from you:


  • 1+ years of leasing in multifamily housing or highend hospitality/sales experience
  • Experience with Yardi, CRM and Rent Café strongly preferred
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to compile required reports timely
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Opportunity Housing laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experienced in all social media outlets and tech savvy
  • College degree strongly preferred

Required Education/Training:


  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Industry specific certifications such as NALP, CAM, CPM or IREM is preferred.

Physical Demands of Job:


The necessary physical functions for the position include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, writing, driving, talking, hearing, seeing, and the ability to cope with environmental conditions inside and outside the building throughout the year.

Travel outside the local market to attend company and/or industry meetings or conferences will be mínimal. Notification will be provided as far in advance as possible in order for personal arrangements to be made.
