Main Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated support for the Refugee Services Match Grant (MG) Program activities, encompassing assessment, facilitation of intake sessions, enrollment processes, financial followup, and guiding clients through the entire 240day enrollment period, guidance including the monthly compliance process and explanation of monthly benefits to align precisely with the program standards.
  • Ensures compliance with all program requirements within the Refugee Services Department and reviews and analyzes eligibility documentation for new client enrollments in the Refugee Services Programs.
  • Provide monthly reporting of MG case file quality and ensure effective communication with Refugee Services Programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with each newly arriving client(s) in the US and refer to additional services as needed.
  • Complete enrollment and new MG cases and provide comprehensive intake sessions for each case.
  • Facilitate completing MG enrollment on the program website, conduct comprehensive document reviews, and offer overarching assistance for the services enrollment process.
  • Provide information, referral, and handson assistance to clients and staff to resolve various needs.
  • Emphasize the strict adherence to the program guidelines with regard to document compliance and financial assistance.
  • Initiate requests for financial assistance disbursements corresponding to enrolled cases and ensure the consistent execution of monthly employment verifications, diligently assessing payment eligibility in accordance with established protocols.
  • Manage separate case files by documenting all activities undertaken in strict adherence to program guidelines.
  • Provide interpretation and transportation to clients as needed.
  • Pick up refugees at the airport if needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Two years of experience working in quality assurance, audit, or related field
  • 1 year of experience working with refugee and immigrant populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills supported by attention to detailskills.
  • Fluency in one of the refugee languages (Arabic, Spanish, Kiswahili, Lingala, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Russian) is preferred.
  • Capable of developing and implementing quality assurance standards as established in the program guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate with other team members to solve problems.
  • Understanding governmentissued documentation and understanding services for eligible categories.
  • Must enjoy working in a diverse office environment with clients of all backgrounds.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office computer skills; (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some late nights and weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
