    Sales Associate - Retail Keyholder

    Job Title: Sales Associate - Retail Keyholder

    • CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
    • SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
    • Understand, support, and adapt to all company policies and procedures
    • Strive to achieve and exceed store and personal sales goals
    • Demonstrate professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by taking ownership of the sales floor
    • Develop a strong knowledge of Salt Life products and communicate effectively with customers
    • Adapt to store environment changes and emergencies
      • OPERATIONS
      • Ensure proper cash control procedures and store opening/closing tasks
      • Maintain safety requirements and an organized store environment
      • Report maintenance issues to the Store Manager
      • Be flexible for scheduling and team/customer emergencies
        • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND MERCHANDISING
        • Process POS transactions accurately and handle financial activities efficiently
        • Maintain the visual impact of the store and ensure organized cash wrap
          • HUMAN RESOURCES
          • Communicate team member concerns to the Store Manager
          • Ensure image standards are reflective of Salt Life
            • LOSS PREVENTION
            • Protect store funds and property by enforcing all loss prevention policies
            • Report any concerns or incidents to the Store Manager
            • Control damaged merchandise and enforce Employee discount policies
              • REQUIREMENTS
              • Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience with 6 months in a supervisory role
              • Positive, outgoing, and sales-focused personality with strong communication skills
              • Computer proficiency in POS, Microsoft Word, and Excel
              • High School Diploma required

                • Microsoft Excel - Some Knowledge; Customer Service - Intermediate
