Description

Unit Description:

St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, a Boston University Teaching Hospital, offers patients and families access to some of Boston's most respected physicians and advanced treatments providing specialized care.

- oversee food production for the patient line, approximately 140 trays per period, and provide support for any catering needs
- responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting
- ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards compliance
- create an environment that fosters team development and motivation
- ensure implementation of Sodexo culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality
- possess knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
- demonstrate experience in a fast-paced food production environment; healthcare experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- have previous supervisory experience
- familiarity with Sodexo programs and systems is advantageous but not required.

What We Provide:

Qualifications & Requirements:
Essential Education - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Essential Management Experience - 3 years


Essential Functional Experience - 3 years in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food services or operations (e.g., concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending), CTM, or Clinical Nutrition
