Requirements:
*Must be able to multi-task in a very busy work environment
*Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office required, some knowledge of Quickbooks a plus
*Excellent customer service skills and a friendly/polite demeanor required
*Must have reliable transportation to get to and from office
Part-time to full-time position available starting ASAP for Mondays through Saturday in our Santa Clarita office. More
hours may be available if you are flexible for other days and/or willing to travel between offices on other days.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
*Answering phones and greeting patients in a friendly way
*Performing some light pre-testing prior to patients seeing the Optometrist
*Scheduling appointments and taking walk-in appointments when possible
*Entering patient information into computer
*Verifying insurance eligibility online and submitting claims
*Collecting payments at the end of exam
*Ordering and stocking contact lens trials
*Training new contact lens wearers in the insertion and removal of contact lenses in office
