    Description:

    We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Engineer Intern with skills in Java and Angular to join our Q-global team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to meaningful projects. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our seasoned developers, gaining insights into the full software development lifecycle.

    Location: San Antonio, TX or Austin, Texas office locations (may be required to go into office on occasion).

    Time Frame: Approximately June through August

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web applications using Java and Angular.
    • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
    • Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
    • Contribute to project documentation.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Currently pursuing or have a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Angular.
    • Understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
    • Previous experience with software projects (academic, personal, or professional) is a plus.
    • Must be able to work full-time in a hybrid (in person/ remote) environment at Pearson's Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX office.
