    *$25k Sign - On Bonus for those who are Eligible
    Nuvance Health seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work nights in Poughkeepsie, NY Our Respiratory Therapists (RRT) set up, operates and evaluate all types of routine and advanced life support equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness for patients of a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients as directed by the physician and in accordance with established department policies and procedures under the supervision of the Director of Cardio-Respiratory Care Services and/or the Respiratory Care Manager, Supervisor and/or Clinical Coordinator. Respiratory Therapists (RRT) demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care departments.

    Requirements for a Respiratory Therapists (RRT):     High School Diploma. Graduate from AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.

    • Registry eligible or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
    • Graduate Respiratory Therapists considered, however, prefer at least 1 year clinical experience in all aspects of Respiratory Care

    License:
    New York State license or permit.

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) through either American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Salary: $ $50.00 per hour (DOE) Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations. EOE, including disability/vets.
