Location: Unterensingen / Baden-Württemberg / Germany | Full-time | Onsite

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the safety management of a groundbreaking project for distributed control of signals in road traffic
  • You will develop safety concepts and adapt existing ones to changing requirements from product and basic standards of functional safety (VDE 0832, EN 61508, EN)
  • Implementing safety requirements in our components in the embedded field and in real-time operating systems (QNX) is part of your job scope
  • Analysis of safety risks based on comprehensive knowledge and application of specific methods (threat analysis, FTA, FMEA)
  • Responsible for creating safety reports, statements, and evaluations

Your profile

  • You have completed a technical education with several years of professional experience or a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • You have experience in embedded design with CAN bus and safety-oriented controller systems
  • You have good knowledge of electrical engineering
  • Considering the special requirements and processes for safety-relevant assemblies, components, and software is important to you
  • A high level
