Description

Are you ready to make a big impact? At Loretto, you can move mountains - or in this case, huge paper rolls - with just the push of a button.

As an apprentice for a machine and equipment operator, you will first learn manual production and processing techniques for paper, as well as how to operate automated machines.

In addition to practical training in our paper processing and equipment department, you will also attend regular block classes at our partner school in Gernsbach, where you will learn the theoretical basics and knowledge of paper production.

We are looking for someone who has at least a good secondary school diploma, good grades in math and science, manual dexterity, and technical understanding.

You are perfect for this job if you can react quickly, take on responsibility, work carefully and independently, and are attentive.

What will your apprenticeship look like with us? You will be trained on process-controlled machines and equipment, as well as in the laboratory and quality control.

The apprenticeship lasts two years and is dual.

You will receive interdisciplinary basic training in metal, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control technology, as well as attend block classes at the papermaking school in Gernsbach.

You will also complete internships at other paper manufacturing companies.

We offer corporate benefits and attractive employee discounts on products and services from well-known brands at over 500 online shops.
