Job Details:
***: The Assistant Site Director provides leadership, direction, and ongoing administration and management for all aspects of the assigned medical offices of the CHS Physician Medical Group. The Assistant Site Director ensures policies and procedures are implemented for efficient, effective management of all programs. The Assistant Site Director has overall responsibility for all aspects of physician practice management's financial results and operational performance and is accountable to communicate and implement the Medical Groups strategic initiatives to meet the CHS goals and objectives. The Assistant Site Director will be responsible for optimizing the Patient and Physician experience by utilizing survey results, increase the efficiency and capacity of the Medical Practices and be accountable for integration with the Hospitals, IPA and practices by ensuring all patients health needs are being met by referrals and hospital programs for other care services. Travel is required to
visit referral sources and leadership meeting.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


Finance

  • Takes the lead with Medical Group Operations and Service Line senior leadership for the preparation of the annual operational, staffing and capital budgets for all Service Lines operations at the site.
  • Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of the practice, as well as, patient satisfaction, staff and physician engagement.

Administrative/Operational

  • Supervises, leads and develops staff at all levels to engage team to and oversee daytoday operations of the multispecialty site.
  • Collaborates with medical group and service line leaders and to implements specific programs, products, and services to support the longrange strategic direction for the Medical Group's employed and nonemployed physician practices.
  • Collaborates with Onboarding to team and Medical Group leaders to understand results of due diligence and support onboarding of newly employed physicians as well as prepare and operationalize nonemployed sessions.
  • Assists with financial and operational performance monitoring and to ensure effective communication with senior leadership, the Medical Group, and physician practices both employed and nonemployed.
  • Responsible for managing the physician schedules for increased efficiency and to maximize practice office capacity and utilization of space and staff.
  • Oversees the coordination of operational startup and onboarding for new practices with physician practice management staff.
  • Collaborates with Medical Group contract management team to monitor all physician employment agreements for physicians and any contract provisions, updates, and revisions to be executed as intended.
  • Collaborates with Medical Group Service Line leadership on creating and operationalizing session agreements.

  • Meets with physicians and staff at a regular cadence with collaboration of SL and MG leadership to ensure operations function effectively.
  • In support of service line development plans, ensures that the site has the staff and equipment required to achieve stated service, quality and patient satisfaction targets and ensures these items are both budgeted and approved accordingly.
  • Collaborates with site physicians and medical group/service line clinical leadership to address any clinical operational performance factors serving as barriers to the achievement of stated service line objectives while maintaining scope of service appropriate to all levels of staff.
  • Communicates any operational opportunities to the Medical Group and Service Line Leadership.
  • Provides recommendations and is open to suggestions for operational changes and ensures implementation and adherence. Identifies and recommends a course of action for approval to the Medical Group and Hospital leadership on organizational and/or operational problems requiring intervention or resolution. Manages the execution of the Medical Group marketing and branding programs.
