What You Will Do
This position is responsible for accurate and timely data entry into the various databases supported by the Sharp Credentialing Department, as well as data report preparation.
This position supports the department needs relative to organization and communication. This position provides administrative support to the Director of the Sharp Credentialing Department.Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 Years experience in a clerical capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with data management and reporting using Excel and other data management systems.
- Experience with software systems administration.
Essential Functions
- Administrative support
Perform clerical duties such as:
assists in answering phones, duplication and collation of written materials, assembly of reports, and record/report retrieval.
Maintains calendar for Director and department.
Prepares agenda and attachments, attends and takes minutes for meetings.
Participates in organizational performance improvement initiatives as a team member and one knowledgeable in credentialing data and processes.
- Application and user support
Supports credentialing team members' utilization of the system.
Participates in System-Wide collaborations of database management.
Participates in data upgrade projects to maintain streamlined and efficient processes.
- Data management
Ensures accurate and timely data entry into applicable databases and systems.
Creates reports and presentations that include display of data for trending and analysis, as directed.
Prepares and monitors assigned credentialing reports. Alerts team members to data abnormalities or established flags.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Possess data use experience and basic analytical skills.
- Requires computer skills, and grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
