    Job Summary:

    ** This is a 3-month contract role **

    The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and executing talent acquisition strategies for Corporate and National roles at Verano.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, selection criteria, and job details such as duties and responsibilities, minimum and preferred qualifications, physical and mental demands, and work environment.
    • Develop and maintain job descriptions and job posts.
    • Utilize sourcing tools and platforms to find and attract passive talent.
    • Review candidate applications and identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct phone screens, present qualified candidates to hiring managers, and coordinate interviews.
    • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
    • Foster long-term relationships with candidates and internal business partners.
    • Act as a liaison with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of recruiting experience required.
    • Experience recruiting for roles across business units (finance, IT, marketing, etc.).
    • Experience navigating applicant tracking systems.
    • Experience with sourcing tools and candidate attraction techniques.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
    • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
    • Must be able to register with multiple states' cannabis commissions as an agent.
