Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.


Duties:


  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial statements
  • Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Perform credit analysis and assist with collections
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records
  • Provide support for audits and other financial projects
  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
